Our Program
Veterans 5-9 was officially established as a Non- profit 501(c)(3) in February of 2020 however, the Veteran 5-9 program has been a working program for 3 years that has manifested into an emergency assistance program that is accessible to veterans by just making one call. As a Officer on the front lines, and a former Senior board member of a veteran organization, I knew how valuable a program of Veterans 5-9’s magnitude could be. Many first responders become frustrated when there is nothing anyone can do for a Veteran who is in crisis due to mental health/substance abuse, homelessness, or incarceration because it’s after hours. I have personally been on the receiving end of those calls wondering why such resources do not exist. I believed with all my heart that the Veterans 5-9 program can be the solution to some of these problems.

- Our mission is to provide nighttime and weekend resources to Veterans who are homeless, exiting the Military, incarcerated, Veterans needing resource options for substance abuse, mental health, food, and transportation.
- The impact of our program is lasting. The future of the program will continue to bridge the gaps of Veteran support and universally be the nighttime/weekend resource for all our Veterans community partners
